The route to reach Everest Base Camp is not hazardous and inaccessible. But the expedition to reach Mountain Base Camp is arduous. Prior to starting a trip to Mountain Base Camp, it is imperative to take trek orientation and preparation. Trekkers often travel by air from Kathmandu to Lukla. From Lukal, they should walk by Dudh Koshi River. The serpentine course of Dudh Koshi River gives a different vigor to the trip. Travelling along Dudh Koshi River, trekkers climb up to Namche Bazaar. Usually trekkers and undertakers of expedition try to get acclimatized to the environment. To get acclimatized to environment, trekkers generally stay a couple of days in Namche Bazaar. The Namche Bazaar is one attraction on the way to Mountain Base Camp. Namche Bazaar is in Solukhumbu Distirct in the Sagarmatha Zone of North-eastern Nepal. It is located within Khumbu area at 3440meters at its low point. Namche is the main trading center and to tourist hub. On the way to Mountain Base Camp, experienced trek leader help trekkers to customize and acclimatize their journey. From Namche bazaar, trekkers go along with hidden valley which constitutes another beautiful aspect of the journey. The expedition passes through Khude and Khumjung to Dingboche. One rural village named Phortse needs to be crossed to reach Dingboche. Shining Amabadlam peak tempts trekker's visitors seductively. The higher the altitude of peak, the thinner is the level of oxygen. So it becomes imperative to get acclimatize with environment which can pose discomfort. From there trekkers happen to see alpine scenery, steep ridges, deceptively charming glaciers. Following this route, trekkers reach Kala Pattahr which is at the peak of 5545m height. From Mountain Base Camp, trekkers ascend to a higher peak named Kala Patthar to catch a soft pink light on Everest's face. From the Mountain Base Camp, it is easier to gaze at the shimmering spires of Ice Fall, relish and richness of air. Day 01: Early morning fly to Lukla and then trek to Phakding.
Day 02: Phakding to Namche (3450 m)
Day 03: Namche rest for acclimatization.
Day 04: Namche to Tengbuche (4 to 5 hours)
Day 05: Tengbuche to Dingbuche (5 to 6 hours)
Day 06: Rest at Dingboche for further acclimatization
Day 07: Dingbuche to Lobuche (4 to 5 hours)
Day 08: Lobuche to Gorakshep - EBC- Gorakshep. (5 to 10 hours)
Day 09: Gorakshep to Kalapatther and down to Pheriche 6 hours trek.
Day 10: Pheriche to Namche (6 hours of walking down)
Day 11: Namche to Lukla (7 hours of walking down)
Day 12: Lukla to Kathmandu (early morning flight, 30 minutes)
